EcoWaste Coalition opened its Walang Plastikan, Walang Iwanan Plastic-Free July campaign on 4 July 2026 with a community clean-up drive and waste assessment in Intramuros, Manila, joined by Manila High School students and teachers, barangay representatives and members of the informal waste sector. A public awareness walk followed on 5 July at Carbon Public Market, Cebu City with PMCJ, Sanlakas and the Cebu Inayawan Resource Collectors Association. The campaign promotes reusable bags, refill systems and responsible consumption; no waste tonnage was reported.
