On the afternoon of 20 February 2026 about 420,000 cubic metres of waste eroded from the active tipping area of the Green Leap / ISWIMS sanitary landfill in Sitio Lukutan Munti, Barangay San Isidro, Rodriguez, burying three units of heavy equipment. One body was recovered and two people remained missing.
