EARTH-2026-0011
The problem was fixed, and the result was measured and recorded.
Barangay personnel conducting a road-clearing activity on 11 April 2026 found used medical waste, including syringes and white plastic apparatus believed to be linked to contraceptive implants or similar procedures, dumped along an interior roadside in Barangay Cogon, Bogo City. The City Health Office and City ENRO were notified and the waste was cleared the same day on the CHO's advice. No suspects were identified because the area's CCTV cameras were still down after the magnitude 6.9 earthquake the previous year; improper disposal of hazardous waste under RA 6969 carries fines of P10,000 to P50,000.
